First bell: "Partner found"
This is the moment Chitacle has confirmed the meeting. A message arrives: the partner's name or pseudonym, age range, date, and time. If the mode is "Schedule a meeting," the play's title is announced here too.
The first bell is confirmation. The meeting will happen. You can live in the anticipation of it.
Second bell: a chime an hour before
An hour before the meeting a soft reminder chime arrives. No words, no details — just a body-signal: time to prepare. In an hour the curtain will part.
This isn't a chat notification. It's a theatrical bell — a tradition that returns the meeting's ritual quality.
Third bell: the link five minutes before
Five minutes before the start the final bell arrives — with the link to the stage. One click and you're on the stage. Your partner is already there.
This is the last step: the world around you has stopped, all that remains is to open the meeting.
Why exactly three
Three bells is a nod to the theater tradition. Before a performance in a theater there really are three bells: the first — 15 minutes before the start, the second — 5 minutes, the third — the doors to the hall open. Chitacle has adapted this practice to the online format.
The three bells turn a meeting into an event, not a "call." Between them there's a rhythm of anticipation that stays with you.
