Rejection isn't "it didn't work." Rejection is confirmation of our worst thoughts about ourselves. Therefore the brain protects us by blocking in advance situations in which rejection is possible. This is how most adult meetings are lost: better "not to approach" than "to approach and be rejected."
In dating apps rejection is formalized directly: "you didn't like each other." In real life — through being ignored, through a cool reaction, through "let's talk some other time."
What Chitacle changes
On Chitacle there's no "swipe" feed. No photo filter. No "accepted-rejected." The system picks the partner — by simple preferences (sex, age). You both come to the meeting with a play in hand. Nobody rejected anyone to end up here — everyone agreed to the play.
Then — you read. If the conversation after the reading didn't take shape — it's not rejection, it's just different people. Nobody has to "accept" you. You came to read a play.
