First step into Chitacle — open play-read.online. Then — a couple of minutes to leave email, check the box, and wait for the bell. This is the simplest beginning of an adult meeting that exists.
The simplest plan
1. Open play-read.online in any browser. 2. Look at how the Wardrobe, Dressing Room, and Stage are arranged — as a guest, no registration. 3. When ready — leave email in the Dressing Room. 4. Specify date of birth (for 18+) and partner preferences. 5. Check the "I want to be invited" box. 6. Wait for the first bell: "Partner found."
That's all. There are no other steps.
What will take time
- Looking around the site as a guest — 5–10 minutes.
- Filling in the Dressing Room — 2–3 minutes.
- Waiting for the first bell — from a few minutes to a couple of days (depending on the mode and preferences).
- The meeting itself — 1–1.5 hours.
What will NOT be required
- Downloading an app.
- Phone confirmation.
- Photo upload.
- Filling in an "about yourself" profile.
- Linking a card (the first meeting is on us).
- Consent to a subscription.
Why this first step is simple
All the "technical" barriers of ordinary dating apps are deliberately removed on Chitacle. The project's creators (experienced dating users with a long history) know that the biggest hindrance to a new meeting is internal skepticism at the third minute of registration: "why do I need this again, more profiles, more photos."
On Chitacle this third minute doesn't exist. 2–3 minutes from opening the site you're already in the system.
What's next
If you got far — share. If you liked it — tell those close to you. If it didn't work out — nobody will bother you.
Chitacle works at your own pace, doesn't push and doesn't persuade. The first step is yours.
Frequently asked questions
What is Chitacle?
An online theater for two: two people read an original play by roles over video call, right in the browser. 200+ original plays and monoplays — freely distributed under CC BY 4.0. Interface in five languages.
How do I get the play text as a file?
Write to chitacle.online@gmail.com with the play's title — we'll send you the file. You learn the title during your meeting in the theater.
On what terms can I use Chitacle plays?
