How Chitacle works: from the Dressing Room to the stage. One email, one checkbox, three bells — and you meet a living person on the stage of the online theater. No downloads, no preparation.
Step 1. Entering the Dressing Room
Go to play-read.online. Without registration — you can immediately look around as a guest. When you're ready — leave email and check the "I want to be invited" box in the Dressing Room. That's all that's required.
The Dressing Room is your personal cabinet. Here the settings, meeting history, and the "Delete account" button are stored, if you decide to leave. Deletion is instant.
Step 2. Choosing a mode
Chitacle has several meeting modes:
- Read now Chitacle looks for a partner right now.
- Schedule a meeting you choose a date and time in the future.
- Read to me you choose the role "listen" or "read," partner of the opposite sex.
- Read with a friend a private meeting via invitation link.
Step 3. Three bells
After Chitacle picks a partner, three bells arrive:
- First "Partner found" with information about the meeting.
- Second a bell an hour before the meeting.
- Third 5 minutes before, with a link to the stage.
Step 4. The Stage
At the appointed time you open the link — the curtain parts. You see the partner over video call. The play's text is seen only in the role — the listener sees only video and hears the voice.
Then — you read for 30–40 minutes. After the play you can stay and talk as long as you like. Or say goodbye — your choice.
What's after
After the meeting, the experience remains. Want to come back — go in again. Don't want to — nobody will bother you. No "likes" feed, no "how are you" correspondence.
