What cold reading is
In the English tradition this is called cold reading — reading from cold, that is, without prior preparation. The actor gets a text and reads it for the first time. This is an exercise on voice, reaction, and presence.
In ordinary theatrical work, cold reading is a skill that is trained. On Chitacle — it's part of the arrangement of the meeting: the text is picked by Chitacle, none of the participants see it before the moment of the meeting.
Why cold reading works in the meeting format

- Unexpected emotions. Cold reading sometimes touches more than the prepared kind — be ready.
