Chitacle for psychologists — a working tool. Partner reading of a play as gentle work with the client's emotions, as a communication trainer for a group, as material for the specialist's own vocal form.
Why a psychologist needs Chitacle
A psychologist is someone who hears others all the time. Over time this tires the voice, exhausts the empathic system, and impoverishes their own language. Most professional trainings for psychologists address this, but they are expensive, rare, and often overloaded.
Chitacle offers something different: a systematic and inexpensive tool for several tasks.
What a psychologist can do with Chitacle
### 1. Use with clients
- Partner reading as part of the session client and psychologist read a play by roles, then discuss.
- Reading in front of the client the psychologist reads a monoplay, the client listens. This works powerfully in drama therapy.
- A couple reads a play for two a shared support for talking about the difficult.
- Social exposure a client with social anxiety enters Chitacle as a small step.
### 2. Use for yourself
- Vocal form. Partner reading trains the specialist's voice.
- Empathy. Inhabiting other roles supports empathic flexibility.
- Listening. Partner reading — a trainer of active listening.
- Your own rest. An hour of a literary encounter — a release from work roles.
### 3. Use in a group
- a series of partner meetings Although Chitacle is a one-on-one format, a group can be run as with discussion between them.
- in the "Read with a Friend" mode Or — several participants take turns reading scenes on video call (for small groups).
Online supervision through the viewer mode
In the Schedule a Meeting, Read to Me, and Read with a Friend modes, viewers can be invited to the meeting. The viewer needs no authorization — the invitation comes as a link. This gives the psychologist an important possibility: to be present at their supervisee's meeting as a viewer.
What this means in practice:
- The supervisee goes to an ordinary Chitacle meeting.
- as a viewer The psychologist joins — sees and hears the meeting but doesn't intervene.
- After the meeting — discussion of what happened, together with the supervisee.
- online supervision in real time This is — without intervention in the contact itself.
The viewer is not visible to the participants — they see only the presence counter. This makes the supervision delicate: the supervisee knows you're nearby, but the partner may not know.
What's important for safety
- Video is not recorded. Client confidentiality is preserved.
- Data is minimal. Email, date of birth, preferences — nothing else.
- The account is deleted instantly. If the client decides to leave — no delays.
