You can go to play-read.online as a guest and look around at how everything is arranged. Open the Wardrobe — the common entrance. Look at the Dressing Room — your personal cabinet. Peek into the demo Stage — the meeting window.
This is the "no registration" mode — you don't even need to leave an email. When you're ready — you'll leave it. Until then, just look.
What "no downloads" means
Chitacle works right in the browser. You don't need to install an app from the App Store or Google Play. You don't need to accept access to contacts, photos, and location. You don't need to update every month.
Open the site — use it. Close it — no traces on your phone.
Which browsers work
- Chrome, Edge, Safari, Firefox the main ones, tested.
- Mobile Safari, Chrome on Android work, video call is supported.
- Old browsers may not support WebRTC. Update.
What's needed on the "technical" side
- Camera built into your laptop, or external.
- Microphone the built-in one will do.
- Stable internet preferably wired or good Wi-Fi.
